Why Lone Star
One of the longest-established mulching companies in Texas
Lone Star Land Enhancement was started in 2004 by owner Steve Sawyer, who holds a degree in forestry management. Steve and his wife Traci — who holds a degree in biology and met Steve as a fellow forestry firefighter — were among the first to bring mulching machines into Texas, spending years educating landowners on this new approach to clearing.
